Hualalai Off Road Trekking Adventure
Tour ID: BHFT-36
Duration: 3-4 hours
Location: Kona, Big Island
Leaves from: Hawaii Forest & Trail Headquarters
The off road trek to the Hawaii forest on the Big Island is full of fun and adventure. Resting above the infamous tourist destination Kailua Kona is a one of the most beautiful forests Hawaii has to offer. Ride with us in our 6 x 6 Pinzgauer and enjoy the trail that we take you on. You'll see natural volcanic areas as we cruise up the side of Hualalai. Our vehicle will start at sea level and take you all the way up to 6,000 feet above! Some of the most outstanding views await you in this fairly unknown land.
Our incredibly knowledgeable tour guides will take you hiking and climbing through this forest as you see the native animals surrounding the area. The landscape is marvelous. You'll see plant life unlike anywhere else, magnificent lava flows, and craters that take your breath away. Among these sites is arguably the most impressive, the lava tube. As much knowledge as they possess, our guides are equally adventurous! They'll take you on this trek almost giddy like a kid on their birthday. They'll teach excitedly about the history and culture of these locations, as well as the phenomenon of the volcanic areas. Don't miss out on this opportunity of a lifetime. Experience this unlike any other forest with the most incredible tour guides that Hawaii has to offer.
