Have you ever wanted to see a everlasting fight between fire and water? If so, come see Pele's creation. The Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is the only place to witness this forever long fight. Our guides will provide insightful information and explain the history of the Kilauea world. This is the best way to explore this park.
Appreciate the size of the Big Island as you are driven by your guide. Starting in Kona, our group will move up the coast passing over the lava flows until we roll over the pasturelands of Mauna Kea. You will witness ranch land, sub alpine dry forest and rain forest. Also, drive through Hilo on the way to the summit of Kilauea and the entrance to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. In all we will travel more than 300 miles but a continental breakfast is provided along the way.
At the Hawaii Volcano National Park you will see the spectacular native rainforest, take pictures of the lava tube, and visit the memorable volcanic formations. There is no other place in the world that has this diversity of climates and geography like the Big Island. The guides will give narrations as you drive, walk, and explore the volcanic area and teach you all you want to know about most active volcano in the world. Also, a picnic lunch is provided for each quest along the way.

Included in the Tour: Continental Breakfast including fresh local fruit, baked goods, 100% Kona coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Deli style lunch with assorted soft drinks, juices and bottled water.
Gear Provided: Walking sticks, day packs, warm wear and rain ponchos.
Group Size: Tour limited to a maximum of 12 guests.
Restrictions: Guests should be able to hike on uneven or rocky terrain. We sometimes encounter cool, wet or muddy conditions. Other tour restrictions may apply.
What to Bring & Wear: Comfortable walking shoes, long pants, and a light jacket.
