Scenic Ride Through Kualoa’s Iconic Trails!
For riders who bike in-frequently, we offer a less challenging leisurely e-bike tour that features a slower pace and less technical ride throughout the less hilly terrain and paved roads of our Ka’a’awa “Jurassic” Valley. You’ll cover around 7-8 miles of roads (some paved and some gravel) with leisurely photo ops and views along the way. We’ll have your bike adjusted for you, and begin with a safety assessment and short practice ride before starting the tour. During the safety assessment you will be evaluated on the following abilities: braking, climbing, descending, cornering, steering, and overall control.

- Professional Guide: A knowledgeable guide will lead the tour, sharing information about the ranch and its history.
- E-bike: The tour provides a state-of-the-art e-bike with front suspension and a quiet Yamaha engine.
- Saddle Bag: A saddle bag is provided for carrying essentials.
- Safety Briefing and Test Ride: A safety briefing and a brief test ride ensure riders are comfortable and confident before the tour.
- Scenic Views: The tour offers stunning views of the valley and surrounding area, with photo opportunities along the way.
- Trail: The novice trail is a 6-mile route through the Kualoa and Kaaawa valleys, making several stops along the way.

MUD HAPPENS! Tours go out rain or shine, so we recommend checking the weather and bringing a change of clothes in case conditions are wet, muddy, or dusty.
All riders are required to successfully pass our test course, demonstrating the skills to competently ride an e-mountain bike on varied terrain. If you are unable to demonstrate the ability to safely ride, you may be cancelled and offered a replacement tour subject to availability. No refund will be offered.
Basic safety standards that our tour guides look for: Ability to steer and handle varied terrain (turning and cornering without going off trail/track), shift gears (down shift, up shift, control while shifting and riding), brake (controlled use of both brakes, no skidding, no sudden braking), and overall control (balance, control of pedals, trail debris avoidance, pace) etc.
- Minimum age is 10 years old.
- Closed-toe / closed-heel shoes required (no backless crocs etc).
- Height & weight requirements per ebike manufacturer guidelines:
Height: between 4’9” – 6’5” (144cm – 195cm)
Weight: between 85 – 250 pounds (38kg – 113kg)- One rider per bike. Helmets are provided.
- Guests with back problems or other health concerns and expecting mothers are not advised to participate in this tour.
- Advanced reservations are recommended as tours may sell out.
- 2-hour tour time includes training and safety briefing.
